Double Electric Roller Garage Doors in Barrow-in-Furness

Project Overview

This recent project took Avon Automated Garage Doors to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, for the installation of two matching anthracite grey electric roller garage doors.

With two garage openings positioned alongside each other, the customer wanted a coordinated solution that would provide convenient electric operation while giving the property a smart, consistent finish.

The completed installation features two anthracite grey roller doors, creating a clean and modern appearance across the whole garage frontage.

A Matching Double Door Installation

For properties with two separate garage openings, choosing matching doors helps create a much more unified appearance.

For this Barrow-in-Furness property, anthracite grey was selected for both doors. The contemporary finish works particularly well across a larger double garage frontage and provides a smart alternative to more traditional garage door styles.

Each door operates independently, giving the homeowner flexibility over which side of the garage they need to access.

The Installation

Both electric roller garage doors were fitted to their individual openings, with care taken to ensure the finished installation looked consistent across the property.

The new doors provide:

Convenient electric opening and closing
Two independently operated garage doors
Space-saving vertical operation
Matching anthracite grey finish
A neat and coordinated appearance
Practical everyday access to both garages

Because roller garage doors open vertically, there is no outward swing over the driveway, helping to make good use of the available space immediately in front of each garage.

The Finished Result

The finished double installation gives the property a clean, contemporary look while providing the customer with the convenience of electric operation.

Using the same anthracite grey finish across both openings creates a balanced appearance, with the two doors working together visually rather than looking like separate additions to the property.

What the Customer Said

Following the installation, we were pleased to receive a five-star Google review from the customer.

Paula said:

“Mark came bang on time, worked until he had finished the job and left the place as clean if not cleaner than it was before he arrived.”

It’s always great to receive positive feedback on the finished installation, but comments about punctuality, workmanship and leaving a customer’s property tidy are equally important to the team.

Double Electric Roller Garage Doors

Electric roller doors can be an excellent option for properties with two separate garage openings.

Each door can be operated independently, while matching colours and finishes help create a consistent look across the property. The vertical opening design also means vehicles can be parked closer to the garage than with doors that require space to swing outwards.

Whether you need one new garage door or are replacing doors across a double garage, Avon Automated Garage Doors can advise on the available sizes, finishes and specifications.
